Many EVs came to market with higher price than gas vehicles, and with too many problems. If you just like it and want to take the risk to try it, that fine. But if you want to drive a reliable car with reasonable price, wait for market to tune. Think about it, if a Chinese company can make a EV with over 100KM range for $4000.00, means the the battery does not cost that much as auto mater said. They just want to make more profit. EV has much less parts than gas vehicles, except battery, there is other reason to ask high price.
Most important, the repair cost is not realistic. Maybe the auto makers thinks EV buyers do not care money for trying new things...
